What's with this four more years of Bush crap? Nothing could be further from the truth. Have these people ever heard of McCain/Finegold, or McCain/Lieberman, or McCain/ Kennedy? those are the most prominent ones, but in truth John McCain has done more work on a bi-partisan level than anyone else. The mantra is, well McCain voted 90% of the time with Bush, Well guess what, Obama voted 90% of the time with McCain. The simple fact is that most all votes in the houses are unanimous. They are simply votes for acknowledgments and to sanction some at-a-boy award or other. The hard facts are that unlike Obama who chose to vote "present" instead of standing on Principal, McCain actually tried to accomplish something that mattered to the country. So this excrement of Four more years falls miserably short of the mark when analyzed. As a matter of fact if anyone were going to do something different it would be McCain, not Obama. McCain is for smaller Government and getting rid of ear marks, as is Palin. McCain is for tax reduction, as is Palin. McCain is for a real comprehensive energy plan, as is Palin. Unlike Obama who is only willing to pick and choose what is to be done for energy independence. Who wants to raise taxes instead of giving a break to the working Joe. Ok Here I have to stop, because I know what we have all heard, That Obama will lower taxes for people in the middle class and raise it for those earning 250 K or more. Well guess what, most of those people either own or control a great amount of the businesses that will be passing on their tax increase to the consumer. Now no matter how you look at it, that will end up with us carrying the brunt of the increases. So unlike McCain, Obama wants to grow the Government and along with that increase social programs to the extent of near collapse of our capital system. Where do you think the capital investors will go when they can't afford to do business in this country? Yep, you guessed it, over seas and off shore. That's what that increase in taxes for the upper class will accomplish. Oh yeah and the straw that will bring down our system Will be the social programs among which will be health care for some 12 to 25 Million illegal aliens. Where do you suppose that money will come from? one guess, and I don't want to hear how the increased taxes on the rich will carry it, I have already debunked that misnomer.
Well Folks, Obama's speech at the DNC was indeed an inspiring bit of politics. On it's face, because of the pomp and ceremony along with his Soave rhetorical delivery it was brilliant, however if you really look at the substance of it you will find the same things that you have been hearing for most of your life, the same worn out promises and cliches that we have been handed on a silver platter, only to find out that silver tarnishes before long and so too the promises of the politics as usual. There is no change there at all, none that I can see at any rate. Simply put, our way of life, our capital system and our country cannot afford an Obama presidency. If you think it has been less than sterling the last eight years, like the old saying goes, "You ain't seen nothing yet."
Please try to be fair when you research and make a decision, I know it seems as though I lean one way, that is only because after my exhaustive research I have found one view to be more acceptable than the other, and believe me, I don't give a calorically challenged rodent's posterior as to the party designation, I am interested in the policies programs and over all way of doing things. McCain has proven he can get it done, and at the risk of seeming redundant, so too has Palin. All these things and many more are what I base my view on, I will vote accordingly and have a clear peaceful conscience, not one that had to be massaged into overlooking the cruel naked truth of a society on the brink. We are a strong and decent country and no matter what any ex-president or perspective first lady may say, we have a grand future to look forward to if we think before we choose and not become entrapped in feelings, but apply the facts, unique concept for some I know, but I think not for those of us who apply these rules. Demagoguery should have no place in the decision.

Eloquently put.
Wow. Another American who understands that the insanely rich don't spend their money on imported cars or rare wine...they invest it in their businesses. Only Holloywood spends it's millions on stupidity. Nice blog...I don't know why I'm shocked but I am.
